Girls Generation Christmas Fairy Tale

Girls Generation

Watch: Girls Generation Christmas Fairy Tale

Girls' Generation-TTS

Girls Generation
Girls' Generation-TTS (also known as Girls' Generation-TaeTiSeo and TaeTiSeo) is the first official sub-group of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation, formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2012. The sub-group is composed of three Girls' Generation members, Taeyeon (leader), Tiffany, and Seohyun.

History

Prior to the group's announcement in April 2012, the three worked together as MCs for the Korean music show, Show! Music Core, where they had been permanent hosts since February that year, Tiffany had already served as a MC on the show since 2009.
On April 19, 2012, S.M. Entertainment officially announced the sub-unit, stating in their official press-release that the subunit's intention was to "grab the attention of fans with all aspects of music, performance, and fashion styles." Also hinting at the possibility of future subunits containing other members, elaborating, "by changing the members of the unit according to the music and concept of each new subunit album." The label also revealed the thought process behind naming the unit "Girls’ Generation–TTS"”. The name "TaeTiSeo" is made up of the first syllables of Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun. This name has the letters "T" and "S", which have distinct sounds, giving a strong vibe of the team and also lets the fans recognize the members instantly.
The subunit's work was noticeably different from previous work done by the group, with the focus shifting towards vocals, rather than the highly synchronized choreography the group is known for, as well as more unique fashion choices. Specifically, Tiffany, who dyed her hair red during the group's promotional period, and stated that the group's styling and fashion choices were each of the girls', adding that they were definitely "hands-on" during the entire process.

Career

Debut with Twinkle

A promotional image showing the three singers of Girls' Generation-TTS styled in outlandish clothing and makeup, with brightly colored textures around them, was released along with the unit's announcement in April 2012. Soon afterward, three video teasers of their single "Twinkle", each featuring a different singer, were released over three days, the total views for all three teasers reaching over 10 million on YouTube within a period of four days.
The single "Twinkle" was released on the iTunes Store worldwide on April 29, together with its music video on the April 30, which attained over 10 million hits on YouTube within its first week. The mini-album Twinkle was released on the iTunes Store on April 30[9] and on CD on May 2. They began promotions on music shows on May 3. Twinkle has also become the highest charting Korean Artist on US iTunes Charts and Billboard Charts, reaching 126 on the Billboard 200. TaeTiSeo, was also the first sub-unit to achieve a triple crown on all Music Shows. The album, Twinkle, has sold over 140,000 copies in South Korea, as well as a further 28,000 copies abroad. The title song has sold 1,988,373 digital downloads in South Korea, as of July, 2012. TTS is the first ever sub-unit to win twelve trophies in their promotion period for Twinkle. The group also participated in SMTown Live World Tour III, where they performed "Twinkle", as well as a special performance of Usher's "DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" with EXO members.

Girls Generation, Gee 2nd Single in Japan "Gee (Japanese Version)" Lyric

Girls Generation

Girls Generation - Gee Japanese Version (English)

Uh-huh! Listen boy
My first love story
My angel and my girls
My sunshine uh uh let’s go!

Might as well stop being stubborn
Steer clear and go full speed
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby

Oh with my pastel nails, natural makeup
and fluffy curls, you’ll start to fall for me
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby
Gee Gee Gee Gee Be Be Be Be Be Be

A girl’s heart
People don’t understand
The timeline is cooling off our feelings

It really seems like I’m losing my mind
Maybe it’s already too late
Yeah, right
Just take me out

Oh no It’s really really truly
No No No No No
As expected, I’m worrying so much, so much
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Look, I like you I like you so much that
Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee
I want to fall in love Oh Yeah I want to love you
Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah

Oh our shocking date is coming up
I’m waiting to hear from you, so answer me!
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby

I’m not wrong, right? About love’s procedures,
Hurry up and call, Vibration [Note: Vibration = Cell Phone BZZZZ]
Gee Gee Gee Gee Baby Baby Baby
Gee Gee Gee Gee Be Be Be Be Be Be

Directly
Sorry to bother you
My lifeline might be in crisis soon

I’m so nervous that I can’t breathe
Yeah, right
It’s always more than I expect

Oh no It’s really really truly
No No No No No
As expected, I’m worrying so much, so much
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Look, I like you I like you so much that
Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee
I want to fall in love Oh Yeah I want to love you
Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah

If you gathered up all the miracles in the world
You’re the beginning and the end and
We still met, so I’m certain we’ll never be separated, right?

Oh no It’s really really seriously
No No No No No
As expected, I’m definitely definitely a prisoner of love
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Look, I like you, I like you, look at me
Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee
I’m in love Oh Yeah
I want to love you Oh Yeah

Oh no It’s really really totally
No No No No No
I’m still doubting so much, so much
Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
Look, I like you, I like you, tell me
Gee Gee Gee Gee Gee
You’re in love Oh Yeah
You want to love me
Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah
