This article is about the 2007 self-titled album in Korean by Girls' Generation. For their 2011 self-titled album in Japanese, see Girls' Generation (2011 album).

Girls' Generation (Korean: SNSD) is the debut (first) album by idol girl group Girls Generation for the SM Entertainment label in South Korea.

The album was re-released on March 17, 2008 and Baby Baby became the title of the repackage album. The third single, "Baby Baby", was used to promote the album. The album promotions was concluded on April 13, 2008 at Inkigayo.

History
After a short break, the group's first full album was released in late autumn 2007, with the lead single "Girls' Generation" , a cover of Lee Seung-Chul hit. Other than the song, ‘Girls’ Generation’, the album also includes ‘Ooh La-La!’ which incorporated the stories of fairy tales like Cinderella and Snow White into the lyric and impressive melodies, ‘Kissing You’, a house style dance tune with the sweet lyric sung as if they are whispering love to their boyfriends and created by the hit composer Lee Jae-Myeong, and ‘Baby Baby’, a shy confession of love and a present from Hwang Seong-Je, the composer of BoA’s ‘Atlantis Princess’, to Girls’ Generation.

The album has sold 121,143 copies to date, placing 8th in the year-end charts. In early 2008, Girls' Generation began promoting their second single, "Kissing You". In March 2008, the album was re-released and re-titled Baby Baby. A third single, "Baby Baby", was used to promote the album.
